TDTU (Vietnam) and INJE University (South Korea) Strengthen Partnership through Global OSH 2025 Short-Term Course
Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Vietnam, and INJE University, South Korea, proudly announce the successful completion of the “Global Occupational Safety and Health 2025” (Global OSH 2025) short-term course, held from July 21 to July 29, 2025, at TDTU’s Tan Hung campus. This initiative, organized by TDTU’s Faculty of Environment and Labor Safety and INJE University’s Department of Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, builds upon the success of prior collaborative programs, fostering academic and cultural exchange between the two institutions.
The Global OSH 2025 course offered a robust curriculum that seamlessly integrated theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Students from both universities engaged in comprehensive lectures covering critical topics, including “Vietnam’s Occupational Safety and Health System and Legislation,” “Risk Assessment,” and “Chemical Safety.” A highlight of the program was a field visit to the POSCO VST steel factory in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai Province, on July 25, 2025. This visit provided participants with valuable insights into safety management practices within an international manufacturing environment.
Beyond academic enrichment, the course facilitated meaningful cultural exchange between Vietnamese and Korean students. Activities such as an introduction to Vietnamese culture, a campus tour of TDTU’s state-of-the-art facilities, and extracurricular engagements enabled INJE University students to deepen their appreciation of Vietnam’s heritage and Ton Duc Thang University’s academic environment. Similarly, TDTU students had the opportunity to enhance their foreign language proficiency and forge connections with their international counterparts.
The Global OSH 2025 course represents a key milestone in TDTU’s commitment to internationalizing education. This initiative not only strengthens the strategic partnership with INJE University but also elevates TDTU’s global presence and reputation as a leading academic institution.
