Academic seminar: "Career orientation & Internship opportunities at Nestlé Vietnam"

On January 13, 2026, the Faculty of Environment & Labour Safety at Ton Duc Thang University held an academic seminar titled “Career Orientation & Internship Opportunities at Nestlé Vietnam” to support students in planning their careers and preparing for professional work environments. The event attracted strong interest and active participation from many students.

The seminar provided students with insights into recruitment requirements and the core competencies expected by multinational employers, including mindset, attitude, work skills, language proficiency, and professional conduct. Participants were also guided on how to build effective application documents such as resumes, including structure, presentation, highlighting key projects/experiences, and common mistakes to avoid. In addition, official information was shared about internship programs at Nestlé Vietnam, including eligibility, recruitment timelines, application procedures, evaluation criteria, and practical advice for preparation. The session also introduced the role and scope of the SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) department and related workplace policies, giving students a clearer and more realistic view of careers in EHS/SHE.

The seminar was presented by Ms. Nguyễn Trần Hoàng Yến, Head of Recruitment and Talent Attraction at Nestlé Vietnam. Drawing on her practical experience and deep expertise, she delivered valuable information and practical advice that helped students understand employer expectations and how to prepare effectively to seize future career opportunities.

The event not only equipped students with important knowledge and skills, but also inspired them to be more proactive in their career planning and readiness for professional environments.
