Đêm Trăng Trao Em” 2026: Spreading Kindness Through Community Engagement Activities

As part of the “Đêm Trăng Trao Em” 2026 program, students and volunteers from the Faculty of Environment & Labour Safety organized a range of recreational, interactive, and gift-giving activities for children in Soc Du Hamlet. The program created a warm and memorable Mid-Autumn Festival experience while promoting volunteerism and a sense of social responsibility among TDTU students.

Festival Booths – Connecting Through Joyful Experiences

At Soc Du Hamlet, the local community space was transformed into a lively festival area welcoming nearly 300 children. Five activity booths offered a variety of interactive experiences, giving the children opportunities to play, socialize, and demonstrate their creativity and skills.

The activities included “Touch-and-Guess Detective,” “Skilled Angler,” “Little Artists,” “Powder Puff Candy Hunt,” and “Monster Challenge.” Each game featured different challenges designed to develop observation and guessing skills, dexterity, patience, teamwork, and creativity.

Beyond providing entertainment for the Mid-Autumn Festival, these activities created opportunities for meaningful interaction between the student volunteers and local children. The children's excitement, laughter, and joy upon receiving gifts contributed to a warm, friendly, and memorable atmosphere.

“Đêm Trăng Trao Em” Cultural Night – Keeping the Celebration Alive Despite Challenges

The day's activities continued with the “Đêm Trăng Trao Em” cultural night, featuring musical performances and interactive activities prepared and presented by the student volunteers. Self-produced performances, humorous skits featuring the traditional characters of the Moon Lady and Uncle Cuội, and group games created a lively atmosphere for the children.

However, the program faced unfavorable weather conditions when heavy rain unexpectedly occurred, accompanied by a power outage that affected the area for most of the event. In response, the organizers flexibly adjusted the program to ensure that the activities could continue.

Portable lights and mobile phone screens were used to provide lighting for the stage. Volunteers and children gathered closer together and continued the program through musical performances, singing, and interactive activities despite the limited lighting and challenging weather conditions.

As part of the evening program, the Faculty of Environment & Labour Safety's student volunteers, in coordination with the Binh Long Ward Youth Union, presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to local children. The activity took place in a warm and intimate atmosphere, bringing joy and memorable moments to the children.

Promoting Volunteerism and Social Responsibility

The “Đêm Trăng Trao Em” 2026 journey was not only an opportunity to provide recreational activities and Mid-Autumn Festival gifts but also a valuable occasion for students of the Faculty of Environment & Labour Safety to demonstrate their spirit of volunteerism, teamwork, event-organizing skills, and sense of responsibility toward the community.

Despite the challenges posed by heavy rain and the power outage, the activities continued thanks to the proactive coordination and strong commitment of the student volunteers, youth union members, volunteers, and local representatives. These practical experiences highlighted the value of community-based volunteer activities while creating lasting memories for both TDTU students and the children of Soc Du Hamlet.

The “Đêm Trăng Trao Em” 2026 journey concluded with gifts delivered to local children, joyful activities, and meaningful moments of connection between TDTU students and the community. The program contributed to promoting the spirit of sharing and social responsibility, while highlighting the active engagement of TDTU students in community-oriented activities.
