A Journey of Compassion – Spreading Human Values
On April 19, 2026, the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety organized a visit and donation program at Linh Quang Shelter (Dong Nai), a facility currently caring for 70 orphaned children and 54 elderly individuals without family support.
The program not only delivered essential gifts but also demonstrated a strong sense of care, compassion, and social responsibility toward the community. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, members of the delegation spent time visiting, encouraging, and interacting with the children and elderly residents at the shelter.
Through this meaningful activity, students gained a deeper understanding of disadvantaged circumstances in society, thereby enhancing their awareness of compassion, empathy, and the importance of sharing. Although simple, these acts carried significant meaning, contributing to spreading kindness and bringing joy and warmth to those in need.
Volunteer activities represent an important component of the Youth Union and Student Association’s initiatives within the Faculty, contributing to the holistic development of students—not only in professional knowledge but also in social responsibility and humanistic values.
