Occupational Safety and Health Programme Completes External AUN-QA Assessment

From September 15 to 17, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) underwent an external assessment based on the AUN-QA standards (Version 4.0) for four undergraduate programs, including the Occupational Safety and Health program managed by the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety. This marked the 536th external assessment conducted by the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) and the 11th such assessment at TDTU. The assessment team comprised AUN experts and secretaries from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Thailand.
Over the three-day period, the assessment team conducted interviews with faculty leadership, faculty members, support staff, students, alumni, and corporate representatives. The team also toured the facilities, met with the Safety and Environment Club, inspected laboratories, classrooms, and functional rooms, and reviewed program documentation and evidence. The assessment concluded with a wrap-up session where preliminary observations regarding the program were shared.
The Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety extends its sincere gratitude to the AUN-QA assessment team, the University Board, administrative departments, faculty members, support staff, students, alumni, and corporate partners for their participation in interviews, preparation efforts, and support throughout the process. The insights and recommendations derived from this assessment will serve as a foundation for the Faculty to further enhance the program, focusing on practical application, international integration, and sustainable development.
