Summary of the 2nd "Start-Up – Green Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development" Competition (AY2025-2026)

With the goal of creating an academic environment that connects the spirit of entrepreneurship with environmental protection responsibility, the ENLABSAFE (TDTU) successfully organized the "Start-Up – Green Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development" competition in 2025-2026. The competition attracted active participation from a large number of students with many projects demonstrating high practical application.

The submitted ideas focused on innovative fields such as environment, renewable energy, circular economy, organic agriculture, and waste management, reflecting students' awareness and responsibility towards current sustainable development challenges.

After several rounds of competition, the judging panel evaluated and selected outstanding teams based on criteria of creativity, feasibility, and practical application value. The results of the awards are as follows:

First Prize: Chitosan Green Team – "Green Touch from Aquaculture By-products"

Second Prize: AquaMO Team – "MO Filter Bags – A Green Solution Ensuring Drinking Water for Flood-Affected Communities"

Third Prize: Bioplast Team – "Biodegradable Microbial Product for Plastic Waste in Soil"

'

Encouragement Awards:

  • Team M2T – "Fabrication of hydrophobic biofilms from cellulose-chitosan microcrystals and their application in oil-water separation"
  • Team Technology for Safety – "A wordless handbook on occupational safety when working at heights in construction"
  • Team Green Straw – Green Paper – "Green Straw – Green Paper: An environmentally friendly paper production solution from agricultural by-products"

The Organizing Committee sincerely thanks the members of the Judging Panel for their time and professional contributions to the competition, including: Dr. Pham Anh Duc and Dr. Thi Ngoc Bao Dung (Lecturers of the Enlabsafe, Ton Duc Thang University), and Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan, Deputy Director of Super Energy Group. The comments and suggestions from the Judging Panel helped the teams better understand the potential and development direction of each project.

The "Start-Up – Green Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development" competition is one of the typical extracurricular academic activities of the Faculty of Environment and Occupational Safety, contributing to the cultivation of innovative thinking, entrepreneurial capacity, and social responsibility among students. The Faculty of Environment and Occupational Safety hopes that the competition will continue to be maintained and developed in subsequent academic years, serving as a launching pad for students to realize their ideas for a greener and more sustainable future.
