Visit to Heineken Vietnam Factory: Real-world experience of the "green factory" model and international standard occupational safety, health, and environmental management system

As part of a series of training activities closely linked to business practices, on May 13, 2026, a delegation of lecturers and students from the Occupational Safety and Health major, Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety, visited the HEINEKEN Vietnam factory (My Xuan A Industrial Park, Phu My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). This was a key professional activity aimed at orienting first-year students in their field of study and allowing them to experience a modern industrial production environment.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation had the opportunity to access and learn in depth about HEINEKEN's advanced "green factory" model. Students were not only introduced to the scale of operations, sustainable development strategy, and career paths at the company, but also directly observed the operation of the safety, health, and environment (HSE) management system according to international standards. In particular, through field observations and direct exchanges with the factory's staff and experts, the students gained valuable practical experience in implementing risk control measures, building a workplace safety culture, and optimizing environmental protection solutions specific to the food and beverage manufacturing industry.

This internship provided high practical value, contributing to strengthening professional knowledge and providing a solid career orientation for students. At the same time, this event further affirms the Faculty's commitment to strengthening strategic cooperation with leading enterprises, aiming to train high-quality human resources. On this occasion, Enlabsafe would like to express its deepest gratitude to the Board of Directors and the entire staff of HEINEKEN Vietnam Factory for creating favorable conditions and providing a professional and effective practical learning environment for lecturers and students of Ton Duc Thang University.
