Welcome Freshmen K30 – A New Journey Begins at Enlabsafe

On the afternoon of September 5, 2026, the Faculty of Environment & Labour Safety (Enlabsafe) organized the “Welcome Freshmen K30” program to warmly welcome new students who have officially become members of the Enlabsafe family.

The program provided an opportunity for K30 freshmen to meet lecturers, become familiar with their new academic environment, and connect with the Faculty’s academic and student activities. Through the information shared during the program, students gained practical guidance to help them take a more proactive approach to their studies, research activities, and university life from the very beginning.

Supporting Freshmen throughout their university journey

During the program, K30 freshmen were introduced to and learned about several important areas:

• Academic information and student activities, helping freshmen adapt quickly to university life and develop proactive study plans.
• Student scientific research, providing opportunities for students to explore ideas, develop their creativity, and gradually build research competencies from their first years at university.
• Youth Union, Student Association, and extracurricular activities, offering opportunities to develop soft skills, connect with peers, and create memorable experiences throughout their university years.
• SE Club, providing a platform for freshmen to connect, gain practical experience, and develop skills beyond the formal curriculum.

Recognizing and supporting outstanding freshmen

A highlight of the program was the presentation of encouragement scholarships to outstanding K30 freshmen in recognition of their impressive achievements.

Three scholarships were awarded to the valedictorians of the Faculty’s undergraduate programs:

• Tran Gia Vi – admission score: 75.68 – Valedictorian of the Environmental Science program.
• Pham Duong Hong Y – admission score: 80.86 – Valedictorian of the Environmental Engineering program.
• Nguyen Quoc Bao – admission score: 85.02 – Valedictorian of the Occupational Safety and Health program.

Three scholarships were awarded to freshmen with IELTS scores of 7.0 or above:

• Nguyen Quoc Bao – IELTS 7.0.
• Luu Hoang Phuc – IELTS 7.0.
• Doan Le Huy – IELTS 7.0.

These scholarships not only recognize the outstanding achievements of the freshmen but also serve as a source of encouragement for them to continue pursuing academic excellence, actively explore new opportunities, and achieve their goals throughout their university journey.

University marks the beginning of a new journey – a journey where students will meet new friends, inspiring lecturers, new challenges, and undoubtedly create many memorable experiences.

The Faculty of Environment & Labour Safety (Enlabsafe) hopes that every K30 freshman will embrace university life with the spirit of proactive learning – active exploration – meaningful connection – continuous personal development.
