Congratulations to environmental engineering master’s student for achievement in scientific research
The Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety congratulates Mr. Le Tuan Nghia, a Master’s student in Environmental Engineering, on receiving recognition from the University for his achievement in scientific research during his Master’s studies.

Under the supervision of Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien, Mr. Le Tuan Nghia participated in the research and publication of the scientific article entitled “Treatment performance and microbial succession of salinity-acclimated activated sludge treating saline domestic wastewater”. The study focused on evaluating treatment performance and changes in the microbial community of salinity-acclimated activated sludge treating saline domestic wastewater, contributing scientific knowledge to the application of biological processes for wastewater treatment under high-salinity conditions.
The article was published in Environmental Technology, a journal published by Taylor & Francis. The article is available at: https://doi.org/10.1080/09593330.2026.2664862

This achievement is a noteworthy outcome of integrating academic study with scientific research at the postgraduate level. It also reflects the student’s dedication and the close guidance of the supervisor in developing research and professional competencies.
The Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety currently offers two Master’s programs: Environmental Engineering and Occupational Safety. The Faculty is committed to providing high-quality education by integrating advanced knowledge with scientific research and practical applications. Master’s students are encouraged and supported to participate in research projects, publish scientific papers, and strengthen their professional and research competencies throughout their studies. Through these efforts, the Faculty aims to provide a high-quality postgraduate education and research environment that supports students in advancing their expertise and expanding their future career opportunities.
The Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety warmly congratulates Mr. Le Tuan Nghia and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien on this achievement and wishes Mr. Le Tuan Nghia continued success in his studies, research, and future professional development.
