Faculty Of Environment And Labour Safety Welcomes Professors From National Central University, Taiwan
On June 15, 2026, the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety, Ton Duc Thang University, welcomed and worked with a delegation of professors from the Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan. The meeting was organized to strengthen academic connections, expand international cooperation in education and scientific research, and promote professional exchange in the field of environmental studies.
During the meeting, representatives of the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety introduced the Faculty’s development orientations in education, scientific research, and international cooperation. The delegation from National Central University shared information on its graduate programs, research strengths, and key academic directions of the Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering. The discussions provided a foundation for both sides to identify shared academic interests, cooperation needs, and potential areas for future collaboration.
As part of the discussion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach, Director of the Institute for International Cooperation, Research and Training, Ton Duc Thang University, also joined the exchange on the development orientation of a 1+1 master’s joint training program. This initiative attracted strong interest from both sides, as it aligns with the goal of expanding international learning opportunities for students while contributing to the enhancement of graduate education quality in environmental engineering.
Based on the strengths, needs, and development orientations of both institutions, the two sides discussed and agreed on several potential directions for future cooperation, including proposing the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding; developing a 1+1 master’s joint training program; implementing collaborative scientific research programs; promoting faculty and student exchange; and co-organizing international conferences and academic forums. These cooperation directions are of practical significance in strengthening education, research, and international integration of the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety, while opening up prospects for more in-depth collaboration between the two institutions in the coming time.
