Lecturer of Enlabsafe participates in the KIST School 25th Anniversary Alumni Homecoming 2026 and Delivers an Invited Seminar in Seoul, Korea

From July 1 to 7, 2026, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien, a lecturer from the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety, participated in the KIST School 25th Anniversary Alumni Homecoming 2026 held in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

As part of the event, Dr. Hien was invited by Prof. Kyungjin Cho (KIST School, University of Science and Technology – UST) to deliver an academic seminar entitled "Microbial Community Perspectives on Biofilm Relocation for Membrane Biofouling Control" at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). The seminar highlighted recent research findings and future perspectives on membrane technology and environmental microbiology.

During her visit, Dr. Hien also met with Dr. Tran Huynh Huu Tho, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Water Cycle Research Center, Climate and Environment Research Institute, KIST, to discuss potential research collaborations in the fields of energy and environmental engineering.

The visit contributed to strengthening international academic networks, fostering research collaboration, and promoting scientific exchange between Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety and leading research institutions in the Republic of Korea.
