Sustainable water use in urban environment

Ton Duc Thang University – Department of Environment and Labor Safety in collaboration with Saxion University of Applied Sciences - Netherlands and water industry organizations of the Kingdom of the Netherlands organized Training Workshop on "Use/Sustainable water reuse in urban environments” within the framework of developing comprehensive cooperation on research, education and management capacity building, in relation to the use of scarce, under- impacts of urbanization and climate change.

At the workshop, researchers presented the status of water use in Vietnam and introduced the experience and water treatment technologies of the Netherlands. On this occasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands has sponsored TDTU through the demonstration model of advanced mobile water treatment technology called "Mexplorer".

With support from the Government, Dutch organizations and businesses, challenges of water scarcity in Vietnam were analyzed, evaluated and handled effectively in the workshop. The Program took place from 4 November through 5 November 2019 at TDTU.
