Academic Seminar: “Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Environmental Field 2026 – Bridging Education and Practice”

On April 20, 2026, the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety, Ton Duc Thang University, organized an academic workshop titled “Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Environmental Field 2026” at Hall A0403, with the participation of lecturers, industry experts, and students in the field of occupational safety, health, and environment.

At the workshop, Mr. Tran Thuc Thien (M.Sc.) presented the orientation of the Occupational Safety Engineering program at Ton Duc Thang University. The program is developed according to international standards, integrating both safety management and engineering, while emphasizing practical relevance through hands-on learning experiences in enterprises and laboratories. Students are offered long-term internships, exposure to real working environments, and comprehensive development of both professional knowledge and practical skills. As a result, graduates are well-prepared to meet labor market demands, with a high employment rate.

From an industry perspective, Mr. Vo Truong Luan, representative of Achison Vietnam, shared insights on Smart Safety Solutions, highlighting that occupational safety today goes beyond protective equipment and has become an integral part of corporate operational strategy. The application of technology and innovative thinking contributes to improving safety management efficiency while optimizing costs and maintaining standards. These practical insights helped students better understand industry expectations and career development directions in the field.
