The Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety Implements a Short-Term Study and Exchange Program at Inje University, Gimhae City, South Korea
From January 11, 2026 to January 25, 2026, a student delegation from the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) participated in the Global OHS short-term course at Inje University, Gimhae City, South Korea. The delegation included nine students and Dr. Ninh Xuan Huy, Head of the Labour Safety Engineering Division. This international training program was designed to help students gain exposure to labour safety and health standards in one of the region’s most industrially advanced countries.
Throughout the program, the students studied specialized topics and took part in practical field experiences related to labour safety and hygiene at key agencies, corporations, and industrial facilities in South Korea. In addition to strengthening their professional skills and scientific research methods, TDTU students actively engaged in cultural and academic exchange activities with students from Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Inje University. These activities not only helped reinforce their professional mindset but also developed their international integration skills within a multicultural environment.
Alongside the students’ academic activities, the working visit also opened up numerous opportunities for sustainable development through strategic discussions between TDTU faculty members and international partners. Topics such as student exchange programs, postgraduate scholarships, and collaborative research projects related to labour safety and health in Southeast Asia were discussed with professors from South Korea and Indonesia.
