Business trip at the Circular Economy conference held at “The Bellevue Manila Hotel, Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro, Manila, Philippines"

From November 7, 2023, to November 11, 2023, MSc. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, MSc. Dang My Thanh, and Dr. Tran Thi Phuong Quynh went on a business trip and had a presentation at the Circular Economy conference held at "The Bellevue Manila Hotel, Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro, Manila, Philippines". The purpose of the trip was to participate in, and present scientific research, and findings at the International Conference on Connecting the Dots in a Circular Economy for Sustainable Development. The objective was to seek ideas and opportunities for research collaboration with professional agencies, businesses, experts, and researchers from Southeast Asian countries. The Circular Economy workshop was organized by the Department of Ecosystem Research and Development - Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the Philippines. During the workshop, MSc. Huong presented on the Preparation and application of waste seashell-derived adsorbent to remove hardness agents, calcium and magnesium, from simulated hard water; MSc. Thanh presented on the Treatment of swine wastewater using coconut shell charcoal, while Dr. Quynh presented on Low-cost biosorbent derived from waste macadamia nut shells: Effective phosphate removal for livestock wastewater treatment. The conference also featured renowned speakers and scientists from various parts of the world, specializing in the fields of environment, circular economy, and sustainable development.
