Journal Club meeting August 2024

Dr. Nguyen Tan Phong presented the article published in the journal in the ISI Life category “Morphological Evolution of an Intertidal Mudflat in Relation to Mangrove Growth: Implications for Future Erosion Control” with the participation of 11 lecturers and 45 students.

Discussed the research results on the morphological evolution of Con Ngang from 1995 to 2022; the development process of mangrove forests from 1995 to 2022; detailed assessment of vegetation cover and development characteristics of mangrove forests; correlation of ecological and environmental indicators (EVI); the relationship between sand accumulation and dead forest trees; and, complex findings of the expanding alluvial zone.
