Training on Waste Segregation at Source

In line with the trend of societal development, environmental pollution, particularly the increase in solid household waste, is causing urban aesthetic deterioration and pollution of soil, water, and air, while also contributing to greenhouse gas emissions.

Waste segregation at the source will bring about positive changes such as reducing waste treatment costs, saving landfill space, limiting soil, groundwater, and air pollution, and simultaneously creating alternative raw materials and energy sources.

Regulations on waste segregation at the source encourage organizations and individuals to maximize the reuse potential of all types of waste.

In coordination with the Student Affairs Office, the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety organized an environmental protection awareness activity with the theme "Waste Segregation at the Source."

  • Time: 09:30 AM, June 28, 2024.
  • Location: 10F Hall, Ton Duc Thang University.
