Working exchange session between SAWACO Water Supply Company and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU)

On November 15, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., a working exchange took place between SAWACO Water Supply Company and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in Meeting Room B at TDTU. The following representatives attended the meeting:

Ton Duc Thang University side:

Dr. Tran Minh Tung – Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering

During the meeting, the parties discussed the following:

Mr. Tran Minh Tung, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, discussed the career prospects of students.
Mr. Doan Le Dung presented the company’s policy to support and accept students for internships at the company or at member companies. He also mentioned that the company will have a recruitment campaign coming up, and students can view information on the website and apply.
Dr. Truong Dinh Tu expressed hope that the IT department could cooperate with the company in the near future if the company orders or has research topics related to information technology in the water industry.
Mr. Thai Nguyen, Head of Technology Department at SAWACO, presented the company’s upcoming orientation. He mentioned that the company aims to apply IT to applications in water loss management and administrative procedures in the water industry. This will lead to many IT applications in the industry and create numerous prospects for cooperation and technology transfer in the future.

Mr. Quy, the representative of TDTU, presented a souvenir to Mr. Tran Thai Nguyen, the representative of SAWACO 

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to draft a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on prospects for future cooperation and development.
