AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance) Accreditation for the Environmental Science Program – Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety

From July 16-18, 2024, following the quality assurance plan for training programs of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Environmental Science program – Faculty of Environment and Labor Protection underwent accreditation by the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance).

The evaluation yielded many positive results, with the following strengths of the Environmental Science program recognized by the AUN-QA assessors:

  • Program Design: The Environmental Science program is designed based on labor market needs and modern educational trends. The program content ensures comprehensive and updated knowledge, helping students master both theory and practice.
  • Faculty: The faculty members of the Environmental Science program at TDTU are highly qualified, experienced, and passionate about their profession. They are actively involved in research, contributing to improved teaching quality and guiding students in research projects.
  • Student Quality: Students of the Environmental Science program at TDTU are highly regarded by employers for their knowledge, skills, and work attitude. They are equipped with many skills to meet the strict requirements of the labor market, and many have successfully found job opportunities and advanced their careers after graduation.
  • Facilities: TDTU possesses modern facilities that well meet the learning and research needs of Environmental Science students. In particular, the library and laboratories are fully equipped, creating favorable conditions for students in their studies and research.

The AUN-QA evaluation not only acknowledged the strengths but also provided recommendations for further improvement and quality enhancement. These recommendations will serve as a foundation for the program to develop its training, better meeting the needs of learners and society.

Achieving the AUN-QA certification this time is a testament to TDTU's commitment to ensuring and enhancing the quality of education. With the positive results from the evaluation, the Environmental Science program at TDTU will continue to strive and develop, providing the best learning and research environment for students.
